Lead Purchase Terms
These supplemental terms explain what a provider workspace purchases when it checks out an inboundOS lead.
Business draft: These terms are prepared for product implementation and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production launch.
1. Relationship to the Terms of Service
These Lead Purchase Terms supplement the inboundOS Terms of Service. By purchasing a lead, you agree to both documents. If these terms conflict with the general Terms of Service regarding a lead purchase, these Lead Purchase Terms control.
2. What you are purchasing
A lead purchase grants your workspace access to the customer contact information and job details associated with a particular service request. It is an opportunity to contact the customer and compete for the work, not a guaranteed project, appointment, estimate, response, sale, revenue amount, or customer outcome.
Unless the checkout page expressly says otherwise, the listing is sold to the first eligible provider whose payment and purchase transaction complete successfully. Viewing a listing, receiving a notification, opening checkout, or seeing a price does not reserve the lead.
3. Current Price and authorization
The Current Price may change while a listing remains available. The amount shown in the final checkout confirmation is the amount you authorize inboundOS to charge, plus any disclosed taxes. A purchase is complete only after payment authorization and the platform’s atomic purchase transaction succeed. If another eligible provider completes the purchase first, your attempted purchase may be declined without a charge or reversed if a temporary authorization occurred.
4. Customer Information
Customer information is withheld until a purchase succeeds. After purchase, it is licensed only to the purchasing workspace for direct follow-up about the customer’s submitted service request. You may share it only with members, employees, or subcontractors who need it to evaluate or perform that work and who are bound to protect it.
You may not resell, publish, exchange, scrape, enrich for unrelated resale, or use customer information for unrelated marketing. You must use reasonable safeguards, restrict access, honor deletion and opt-out obligations where applicable, and stop contacting a customer who asks you to stop.
5. Customer-supplied details
Lead details may be supplied by the customer, inferred from a conversation, or collected through automated tools. Details may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or change after purchase. Photos may omit relevant conditions. You are responsible for confirming scope, location, access, hazards, pricing, and other material facts directly with the customer before quoting or performing work.
6. Communications and legal compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that every call, text, and email you send is lawful and relates to the customer’s request. You must identify your business truthfully, use contact information only for the disclosed purpose, honor opt-outs and do-not-contact requests, and obtain any consent required for automated or marketing communications. A lead purchase does not grant unlimited or perpetual permission to contact a customer.
7. Refunds and credits
Lead purchases are final except where a refund or credit is required by law or expressly offered in the checkout terms or a written inboundOS policy applicable to that purchase. A customer’s decision not to respond, request an estimate, hire you, accept your price, or complete a project does not by itself make a purchase eligible for a refund or credit.
If you believe a transaction was duplicated, charged incorrectly, or did not deliver the purchased customer information, notify inboundOS promptly through the Feedback feature so the transaction can be investigated. Do not misuse payment disputes or chargebacks to avoid a valid purchase obligation.
8. Eligibility and marketplace access
Purchasing may be limited by workspace permissions, niche fit, marketplace coverage, active provider-seat requirements, account standing, payment status, or marketplace capacity. InboundOS may reject or reverse a transaction that violates eligibility rules, results from error or fraud, or cannot lawfully be completed.
9. No circumvention
You may not coordinate with another provider to manipulate availability or price, transfer a purchased lead to an unauthorized workspace, evade marketplace limits, or use another account to bypass a suspension or restriction.
10. No outcome warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, inboundOS makes no warranty about customer identity, responsiveness, project value, job feasibility, competitive conditions, timing, or the accuracy or completeness of lead information. The disclaimers and liability limitations in the Terms of Service apply to every lead purchase.
11. Changes and contact
InboundOS may update these Lead Purchase Terms prospectively. The version presented or linked at checkout governs that purchase. Questions or transaction issues may be submitted through the Feedback feature in your inboundOS account.
